This Yellowstone daughter was raised by black Graham daughter DRT 393H, she is a well-built, moderate female with a lovely udder. Sapphire Jewel has enjoyed a successful show career, hitting Denver, Calgary Stampede, the Canadian Junior Gelbvieh Show, Edmonton FarmFair, and Agribition. She garnered attention at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO where she won 2024 NWSS Reserve Grand Champion Female. Lonesome Malena 428L is a nice example of the type of docile daughters that Steadyeddy sires. She’s complete, square, and feminine, and is developing a nice udder as she works toward producing her first calf in 2025.
A Graham-sired daughter that is moderate in frame and puts here energy where it matters – into her calf and getting bred up early again. We liked her looks in the summer of 2023 when we decided to bring her in and halter break her for the 2023 Canadian Western Agribition in Regina, SK. There, along with DRT Lonesome Sapphire Jewel 3L at her side, she won the Reserve Champion Senior Cow Calf Pair. In 2024, she earned Dam of Merit status, raised another beautiful daughter DRT 63M. In 2025, once again, she birthed a lovely Steady 32G female, DRT 6N.
Beautifully made, this Eastman daughter has a lot of potential. Maternal, square, not extreme in her body type, and with a lovely udder, she is a good example of the type of purebred female we strive to produce on our ranch. She raised a beautiful Yellowstone bull DRT Lonesome Blockbuster 165M on offer in the 2025 sale.
This maternal, deep-bodied female is sired by DRT Lonesome Lucky Shot 324G and was raised by DRT Lonesome Ladylike 34F, a Macon daughter. She was shown by Ash during the 2022-23 4H season and he went on to win Reserve Grand Champion Female at the 2023 Canadian Western Agribition in Regina.
This classic cow has been a prolific producer and a three time Dam of Merit. We have retained many of her daughters and in 2025, will retain a son DRT Lonesome No Regrets 100M for breeding. This ranch cow caught Ross’ eye and he chose to halter break here as a mature cow to show at Agribition, where she went on to win the Reserve Champion Mature Female at the 2021 Canadian Western Agribition in Regina, SK.
Here is a great example of a Ruttan daughter raised by WVR Noted that we sourced from Leonard Lindquist in Idaho in the fall of 2012. She has a son in service at Balcarres, SK but she is perhaps better known around here as a female-maker. We have four daughters in production including DRT 242K pictured at her side as a calf. A nice tidy udder, sound foot, friendly disposition and an ability to produce solid offspring while maintaining her fertility and breeding up early each year has been her strong suit.
This fancy, moderate female is a classic Macon daughter. She is deep-bodied, feminine, and has a lovely udder. She has daughters in production in the Lonesome Dove herd as well as bulls in service at repeat customers and is a three-time Dam of Merit.
This moderate structured Cruise daughter is a four-time Dam of Merit with paternal bloodlines sourced from the M Heart D Gelbvieh program in Montana. Pictured below with a 3-month-old calf at side, this female has been consistent, fertile, and productive, raising both females that are deep in quality and Dams of Merit themselves, as well as top end bull calves. Her 2025 bull offering is DRT Lonesome Legwork 178M, a stout, very docile Steadyeddy bull. Check him out!
This Hall of Fame daughter is a six-time Dam of Merit. Fiona is a good example of Hall of Fame females, depth, dark black, and broody while maintaining a moderate frame size. Fiona was the mother of many females that we retained in herd and several top notch bulls that are at work in clients’ herds.
Glass Slipper featured outcross genetics from her Fir River dam 237X and on the sire side from DVE Davidson Worley. Glass Slipper raised DRT Lonesome Yellowstone 175H, a herd bull that we retained, as well as notable daughters including DRT Lonesome Champagne 32F.
Here’s a two-time Dam of Merit on track to achieve this status again for 2025. This no-nonsense Sam female predictably raises functional, feminine daughters and fertile bulls. She has sons at work in respected commercial herds in Ontario and Saskatchewan.

Shown here with her calf DRT Uptown Girl 42Y at side (pictured Fall 2011), this little female has guts, depth, and a well-balanced udder. She is a mature cow who has earned her keep. We showed her as a heifer calf, and in the Fall of 2011 decided to bring her back out on the road once again.
We showed this little female in 2009 at both Edmonton FarmFair and Agribition and both judges and spectators liked her looks! She won Reserve Heifer Calf Champion at both shows, and we made the difficult decision to part with her at the 2009 Agribition Gelbvieh sale where she was the high selling lot, going to Fir River Livestock at Hudson Bay. Fancy and deep-bodied, we know she went to a good home!
